Throw Out Your Eyelash Curler!

GREATER MANCHESTER, NH—Award-winning H2O Salon Spa has added a revolutionary new beauty treatment for eyes to their menu of esthetician services: the Lash Lift. The treatment involves curling and tinting your natural eyelashes to brighten your eyes, making your lashes look longer and darker.

What is a Lash Lift?

You know how using an old-fashioned eyelash curler lifts your eyelashes, giving you a prettier, longer-lashed look? The Lash Lift gives you the same eye-opening effect in an hour, and it lasts 6 to 8 weeks. H2O Salon’s aesthetician is trained in the new and improved perming technique, which uses silicone pads instead of perm rods to create the curl.

As with all H2O Salon products, the formulations used to achieve the curl are safe, and condition and nourish lashes as they are curled. Definitely choose our tinting option to bring out even your palest lashes, beautifully.

This technique lifts the lashes from the root in an upwards fashion, lengthening your own natural lashes to give you a fuller, wide-eyed look. There is no need for lash extensions and the associated aftercare.

Compared to lash extensions, which need to be filled in every few weeks and which can take two hours to apply, a Lash Lift takes about an hour, won’t need to be repeated for about two months, and costs less.

What to expect

After an hour, you can expect to see your natural eyelashes looking longer without lash extensions because the entire length of your lashes will be visible and curled up. At H2O Salon Spa we can also tint your lashes to help them look even more lustrous. Best of all, the ravishing results mean you’ll wake up every day, or come out of the pool, looking as if you’ve curled your lashes and applied mascara–for up to two months!

FAQ

Can I wear mascara or eye makeup to my appointment?      BEFORE 1 IMG_3296
Yes, we will remove it before treatment.

Can I wear contact lenses during lift?
No. Please remove them before coming in.

Can I wear mascara after my Lash Lift?
Yes, if you wish. However, we do not recommend waterproof mascara and the use of regular makeup remover, since they tend to weaken the lift. H2O has approved makeup remover and our own mascara in the boutique.

What should I use for cleaning my face after lift?
You may use a mild gel cleanser. If you need a makeup remover, H2O has an approved makeup remover in our boutique.

How long will the Lash Lift appointment take?
The whole treatment takes up to 60 minutes, depending on how long and coarse your eyelashes are. The lift takes about 30 minutes; if you choose to have your lashes tinted–and it’s totally worth it–allow an extra 15 minutes.

How long will the curl last?
The eye-opening results of your Lash Lift will last from 6 to 8 weeks.

How often can I repeat the Lash Lift?
The curl will begin to drop gradually, one lash at a time. You can repeat the procedure after 6 weeks.

Can I use my eyelash curler?
You won’t need it! Because eyelash curlers can break off the lashes, we don’t recommend it.

Will I lose any of my lashes because of the lift?
No, however, it is perfectly normal to lose one or two eyelashes daily. It happens to all of us. New eyelashes will grow in place of old ones.

Does the Lash Lift hurt?
No, however you may experience a little discomfort.

Will I have skin irritation?
It’s very rare for someone to have a reaction, but a little redness is normal and will go away after a couple hours.

Can I wash my face after my Lash Lift?
Yes, but not the eyes.

Can I use growth serums after lift?
Yes you can, and we recommend you do! Just wait 3 days after your Lash Lift to start or continue growth serum use.

Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended. However, we do take walk-ins when we can accommodate them. We’re open six days a week, including Mondays!

After-care for your lustrous lashes    3 IMG_3201

  1. Avoid heat the day of your Lash Lift (sauna, facial, hot shower, working out, etc.).
  2. Do not apply any oils such as baby oil, coconut oil, etc., during the length of the lift.
  3. Use mild, approved lash cleaner; don’t use regular eye makeup remover or makeup remover wipes.
  4. You can use mascara if you wish. In fact, using H2O Salon Spa-approved mascara daily helps to prolong the lift. Just don’t use waterproof mascara.

Here’s looking at you, and your eye-popping peepers!
